The QLD government have recently introduced the Great Barrier Reef Education Experience for QLD school groups. This subsidy program is designed specifically for QLD school groups to travel intrastate and explore Australia’s natural wonder: The Great Barrier Reef, with subsidies of up to $150 per student available to QLD school groups.
Whether your school wants to visit the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns, Townsville, Bundaberg, Whitsundays, Mackay, Gladstone, or Port Douglas between 13th July 2021 – 30th July 2024, then you are eligible to apply (see full terms in the link provided below).
This program is delivered by the department of Tourism, Innovation & Sport with program partners in the Department of Education, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Tourism & Events QLD.
